Dr Geoffrey Millour

SPORTS SCIENTIST & BIKEFITTER

Dr Geoffrey Millour is a former high-level cyclist (double French champion on track and member of the French road teams U17, U19 and U23).

Geoffrey is interested in factors related to performance in sport. After completing his Master 2 internship with the French Cycling Federation to prepare cyclists for the Rio Olympics, Geoffrey continued with a Ph.D. at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne in collaboration with the Morphologics company.

The objective of his thesis was to optimize the position of cyclists and triathletes to improve performance and reduce the risk of injuries.

His postdoctoral fellowship was at the L-TIPS Laboratory of the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières, Canada. His goal was to improve cycling performance based on biomechanical, physiological and aerodynamic variables. His main project focused on the development of models to predict performance in cycling. Subsequently, he worked as an assistant professor at Nantes University where he accompanied the French pursuit teams to optimize their strategy for the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Geoffrey is widely published in the area of bikefit and cycling performance. He is also a member of the scientific committee of the International Bike Fitting Institute (IBFI) and the coach of many high-level cyclists. He recently ranked 20th in the 2023 E-Cycling World Championship on Zwift.
